Telangana ACB Conducts Searches in Disproportionate Assets Probe Against Transco Engineer
The Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau launched coordinated searches at multiple properties linked to a Transco Deputy Executive Engineer as part of an ongoing disproportionate assets investigation.

The Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau carried out a series of coordinated searches on Wednesday in connection with a disproportionate assets investigation involving a Deputy Executive Engineer of Transco.
Officials said multiple teams were deployed to inspect residences and other premises associated with Muthyam Venkataramana. The searches were conducted simultaneously at several locations to collect documents and evidence relevant to the inquiry.
According to the investigation team, eight ACB units participated in the operation, covering a total of 15 locations linked to the official. The exercise forms part of an inquiry into allegations that the officer accumulated wealth beyond his known and declared sources of income.
Authorities stated that the searches were continuing and that the properties and financial records recovered during the operation would be examined in detail before any further action is taken.
The Anti Corruption Bureau is expected to release additional information after the verification process is completed and the findings from all search locations are consolidated.
