Telangana Opens Online Applications for TGTET In Service Teachers Examination 2026
Eligible government and state institution teachers can apply online for the Telangana TGTET In Service Teachers Examination 2026 with applications, hall ticket and examination schedule officially announced.
The Telangana School Education Department has started the application process for the TGTET In Service Teachers Examination 2026, inviting eligible teachers working in government, local body and other notified state institutions to register online.
According to the official schedule, online applications and fee payment will be accepted from July 22 to July 29. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets beginning August 31 before the examination.
The computer based examination is scheduled to be conducted across the state from September 7 to September 11. Officials stated that each paper will contain 150 multiple choice questions, and candidates will have 150 minutes to complete the test.
The department clarified that qualifying in the examination is intended only for service continuation and promotional purposes. The certificate issued through this examination will not be considered valid for direct recruitment to teaching posts.
Applicants are required to pay an examination fee ranging from Rs 700 to Rs 1000 depending on the number of papers they choose to appear for.
The School Education Department has also announced that the examination results are expected to be declared between September 28 and September 30, allowing eligible teachers to complete the process within the notified timeline.
