Chandrababu Guides TDP MPs Ahead of Parliament Monsoon Session

Ahead of the Parliament Monsoon Session, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urged TDP MPs to strongly raise state issues, seek central funding, and focus on development priorities and national matters.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with Telugu Desam Party Members of Parliament on Friday at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Undavalli to finalize the party’s strategy for the upcoming Parliament Monsoon Session beginning on July 20. He stressed that every MP should actively represent the interests of the state and work towards securing maximum financial assistance from the Centre.

During the discussion, Naidu identified several priority issues that should receive attention in Parliament. He asked MPs to highlight the progress of the Polavaram National Project, press for pending central funds, and seek support for the rehabilitation of displaced families. He also emphasized the need to accelerate the development of Amaravati, advance the Godavari Penna river linking project, and ensure faster implementation of the South Coast Railway Zone headquartered in Visakhapatnam.

The Chief Minister further instructed party MPs to raise matters related to industrial corridors, petroleum refinery projects, employment generation, and investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. He said these initiatives are essential for strengthening the state’s long term economic growth.

Naidu also advised MPs to bring attention to recent attacks on institutions and the spread of misinformation through social media. On national issues such as constituency delimitation and the Women’s Reservation Bill, he asked party members to remain united and follow the official stand of the Telugu Desam Party.

Calling for coordinated efforts, the Chief Minister urged every MP to use the Parliament Monsoon Session as an opportunity to address constituency concerns while securing approvals and financial support for major development projects across Andhra Pradesh. The session is scheduled to continue from July 20 to August 13.
