Parawada Pharma Fire: A massive fire at a chemical manufacturing unit in Parawada Pharma City claimed two lives while rescue teams continued operations and authorities ordered immediate relief and safety measures.

Parawada Pharma Fire: Two workers were killed in a major fire accident that broke out at a chemical manufacturing unit in Parawada Pharma City of Anakapalli district on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the Dakshina Energy Chemical plant, where flames spread rapidly and created panic in the industrial area.
The victims were identified as residents of Achyutapuram. Officials said the workers were trapped inside the facility as the fire intensified. Reports also indicated that others were affected in the incident, prompting an immediate rescue response.
Soon after receiving information, fire and emergency personnel rushed to the spot with multiple fire engines. Teams worked continuously to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby sections of the industrial unit. Injured workers were shifted to hospitals and are undergoing treatment.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the loss of lives and reviewed the situation with district officials. He directed authorities to provide the best possible medical care to the injured and ensure support for the affected families.
Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha also responded to the incident and spoke with the district collector and police officials to assess the situation. She instructed authorities to accelerate relief measures and closely monitor rescue and treatment efforts.
Officials stated that steps would be taken to prevent similar industrial accidents in the future. A detailed inquiry is expected to determine the cause of the fire and examine safety practices at the facility.
