Alwal Electrocution Tragedy: A tragic incident in Alwal claimed the lives of a father and daughter after they were electrocuted while attempting to clear debris caused by heavy rainfall. The victims were identified as Sandeep, aged 45, and his 16 year old daughter Ritika. Both reportedly came into contact with live electric wires while trying to remove branches from a tree that had fallen near their residence. Sandeep’s wife, Swetha, sustained minor injuries during the incident.

According to preliminary information, intense rainfall on Friday night caused a tree to collapse onto a car parked in front of the family’s home. In an effort to clear the obstruction, family members stepped outside and began removing the fallen branches.

During the process, Sandeep and Ritika unknowingly touched live electrical wires that were entangled with the tree. The contact resulted in a severe electric shock, leading to their deaths at the scene.
