Hyderabad Wife Murder: A tragic incident in Hyderabad’s Malkajgiri area has sparked outrage after a woman was allegedly shot dead by her husband during the early hours of the day. Police have launched an investigation into the case, which is believed to have stemmed from ongoing disputes and suspicion within the family.

According to preliminary information, the accused, identified as Arun Kumar, is involved in the real estate business and lives with his family in Maruthi Nagar. Authorities said tensions had reportedly existed between the couple for some time.

Police suspect that Arun Kumar arrived at the house along with another individual, claiming that he wanted to discuss family matters. During the visit, he allegedly opened fire on his wife, Nisha Rani. She suffered critical injuries and died at the scene before medical help could arrive.

Residents in the neighborhood heard the sound of gunshots and immediately alerted the police. Officers rushed to the location, secured the area, and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad for postmortem examination.

Investigators revealed that Arun Kumar had divorced his first wife before marrying her sister in a love marriage. The background of the family relationship is also being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Police are further looking into the source of the weapon used in the crime. About three months ago, Arun Kumar was reportedly caught during a vehicle inspection in Amberpet while carrying a firearm. After that weapon was seized, investigators believe he may have acquired another gun through contacts known to him.

A criminal case has been registered, and police teams are collecting evidence, questioning witnesses, and verifying all angles related to the incident. Officials said further details will emerge as the investigation progresses.
