A Karnataka man working in Sharjah was allegedly murdered and his body found cut into nine pieces, while his wife and son remain missing, according to family members.
Sharjah Murder Case: A 44 year old man from Karnataka who had been working in Sharjah for more than a decade was allegedly murdered, with his body later found in nine pieces inside a car.
The victim was identified as Alvin Prakash Kunder, who had been employed at an airport in Sharjah for around 14 years. His wife, Tina, reportedly worked as a schoolteacher in the UAE, while their son is studying in Class 10.
The case came to light after Alvin’s family became suspicious about his sudden disappearance. His brother, Anil Prashanth, said he tried calling Alvin on July 20 but did not receive an answer. Instead, a message was sent from Alvin’s phone saying that he was fine.
Anil reportedly found the message unusual because his brother had never communicated with him in that manner before. When repeated calls went unanswered a week later, he contacted a friend living in Sharjah and asked him to check on Alvin.
The friend went to Alvin’s flat but found it empty. A security guard reportedly told him that Alvin had left for India. That information raised further doubts because the family had not heard from him directly.
Anil then contacted the company where Alvin worked. After checking the relevant passport records, the company reportedly confirmed that Alvin had not travelled to India.
Following a complaint from Anil, police registered a missing person case and began looking into Alvin’s movements. The investigation later took a disturbing turn when authorities reportedly found a body inside a car that had been cut into nine pieces. The body was identified as Alvin’s, according to the information shared by his family.
The circumstances surrounding the murder remain unclear. Police are investigating who was responsible and what may have led to the killing.
Alvin’s wife and their teenage son have also reportedly been untraceable since his disappearance. Authorities are continuing efforts to locate them while examining the circumstances surrounding the family’s disappearance.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected as police establish the sequence of events and identify those responsible.
