Telangana Police Jobs: Candidates preparing for Telangana police recruitment have received some extra time to complete their applications. The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has extended the deadline for the current recruitment drive.

Applications can now be submitted until 5 pm on September 16. The original deadline was September 9, but the recruitment board decided to provide an additional week for applicants.

The notification, issued on July 29, covers 7,437 vacancies in different police and related departments. The posts include 3,697 Civil Police Constables, 1,052 Armed Reserve Constables, 24 Special Armed Reserve Police Constable posts for men, 1,380 Special Protection Force Constable posts, 751 Firefighter posts and 208 Jail Warder positions.

The response to the recruitment notification has already been substantial. According to the TSLPRB, 3,38,336 candidates have registered so far, while 2,88,530 have completed the fee payment and moved ahead with the application process.

The board has also reported that more than 95 percent of Aadhaar verification has been completed. The process is being carried out as part of the application procedure for the recruitment drive.

With the revised deadline, candidates who have not yet completed their applications now have additional time to finish the process. The recruitment board has advised applicants not to wait until the final day.

Officials cautioned that heavy traffic on the application portal towards the deadline could lead to technical difficulties. Candidates have therefore been asked to submit their applications well before September 16 to avoid last minute problems.

The recruitment drive is expected to attract a large number of applicants as thousands of posts are available across police, fire services and prisons. Candidates are advised to carefully check their details before submitting the application and completing the required payment.
