KCR to Hold BRS Legislature Meeting Ahead of Assembly Session

BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao is set to hold a joint meeting of the party’s MLAs and MLCs at his residence in Erravalli on September 6, ahead of the upcoming Telangana Assembly session.

The state Assembly is scheduled to begin its proceedings from September 7. Against this backdrop, KCR has decided to convene the meeting to discuss the issues and strategy that the party will take up during the session.

The meeting will be held under KCR’s leadership at his Erravalli residence. Party legislators are expected to gather after lunch, with the formal meeting scheduled to begin at 2 pm.

KCR has asked all BRS MLAs and MLCs to attend the meeting. Discussions are expected to focus on the party’s approach to the Assembly proceedings and the major issues that need to be raised with the government.

The BRS leadership is also likely to review public concerns and decide how the party legislators should raise them on the floor of the House. KCR is expected to give directions to the legislators on maintaining a coordinated approach during the session.

With the Assembly session approaching, the meeting assumes significance for the BRS as the party prepares to question the government on issues concerning people and put forward its position on various matters.

The discussions at Erravalli are expected to help the party finalise its strategy before the legislators take part in the Assembly proceedings from September 7.
