Reliance Enters Ice Cream Market: Reliance Enters Ice Cream Market With ₹10 Products

Reliance Consumer Products has entered the Indian ice cream market with Bombay Creamery, offering dairy based products starting at ₹10 and planning a wider nationwide rollout.

Reliance Enters Ice Cream Market: Reliance Industries is making another move in the fast moving consumer goods sector, this time targeting India’s growing ice cream market. Reliance Consumer Products Limited has launched a new ice cream brand called Bombay Creamery.

The company said the brand will focus on ice creams made with dairy cream. Consumers will be able to choose from several formats, including cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks. Prices will begin at just ₹10, placing the products in the affordable segment.

Bombay Creamery will initially be rolled out across western parts of India. Reliance plans to gradually take the brand to other parts of the country as distribution expands.

The latest launch adds ice cream to Reliance Consumer Products’ growing FMCG portfolio. The company already has a presence in the soft drinks segment and has been expanding into different consumer categories.

According to Reliance Consumer Products Director T Krishna Kumar, the company wants Bombay Creamery to offer consumers an authentic ice cream experience at prices that remain accessible to a wider section of the market.

With an entry price of ₹10 and multiple product formats, the new brand is expected to compete directly for customers in the mass market while Reliance works on building its presence across the country.

Reliance’s entry also adds another major player to an already competitive Indian ice cream industry, where established brands and newer regional players are fighting for market share.
