Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Price Leak Hints at Premium Launch in India

Samsung is reportedly preparing to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India with flagship hardware, powerful cameras, and AI features, while fresh leaks also reveal expected pricing for three upcoming Galaxy smartphones.

Samsung is expected to expand its foldable smartphone lineup with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8, and new leaks have already offered an early look at its possible price, launch timeline, and key specifications. Although the company has not officially confirmed these details, reports suggest that the next generation foldable could arrive in India in late July with several notable upgrades.

According to the latest leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 may debut in the Indian market around July 22, 2026. The base model featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 179999. As with any pre launch information, the final pricing and launch date will only be confirmed once Samsung makes an official announcement.

The upcoming foldable is tipped to feature a premium AMOLED display setup with a 120Hz refresh rate. Reports suggest it could include an 8 inch main foldable display along with a 6.5 inch cover screen. Both panels are expected to offer peak brightness of up to 2600 nits, making the device suitable for both indoor and outdoor viewing.

Performance is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is also expected to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, ensuring improved battery life and quicker charging for everyday use.

Photography is expected to remain one of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Leaks indicate that Samsung may equip the phone with a triple rear camera system led by a 200 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization. The setup could also include a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 10 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the foldable is expected to feature dual 10 megapixel front facing cameras, while several AI powered camera enhancements are also likely to be included.

Apart from its flagship foldable, Samsung is also preparing to introduce three more smartphones in India. Pricing information for the Galaxy A27 5G, Galaxy M47 5G, and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G has surfaced ahead of their official launch.

The Galaxy A27 5G is expected to arrive in three storage variants. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model could be priced at Rs 31999, while the 8GB and 128GB version may cost Rs 34999. The top end 8GB and 256GB variant is tipped to launch at Rs 40499.

The Galaxy M47 5G is also expected to be available in three configurations. The entry level model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage may cost Rs 32999. The 8GB and 128GB variant is expected to be priced at Rs 36999, while the 8GB and 256GB version could retail for Rs 41999.

Reports suggest that the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will share similar pricing with the Galaxy M47 5G. Its 6GB and 128GB model is expected to cost Rs 32999, while the 8GB and 128GB version may be priced at Rs 36999. The top configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage could launch at Rs 41999.

With Samsung preparing launches across both premium foldable and midrange smartphone categories, the coming weeks are expected to be busy for the brand. Buyers interested in upgrading their devices may soon have multiple new options, though official confirmation regarding specifications, pricing, and availability is still awaited.
