Kia Syros EV Unveiled in India With 526 km Range and Bookings Open
Kia has opened bookings for the new Syros EV in India with two battery options, up to 526 km range, fast charging capability, premium features, and a lifetime battery warranty.
Kia Opens Pre Bookings for Syros EV
Kia India has officially introduced the new Kia Syros EV, strengthening its electric vehicle portfolio in the country. While the company is yet to announce the official prices, customers can already reserve the electric SUV by paying a booking amount of Rs 25000. Deliveries will begin after the pricing details are revealed.
Two Battery Options With Long Driving Range
The Kia Syros EV will be offered with two battery pack choices to suit different driving needs. The 42 kWh battery delivers an ARAI certified driving range of up to 443 km on a full charge. Buyers looking for longer trips can choose the larger 51.4 kWh battery, which offers an impressive certified range of up to 526 km.
Power comes from a front mounted electric motor producing 170 hp. According to Kia, the larger battery version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds, making it one of the quicker electric SUVs in its segment.
Fast Charging and Everyday Convenience
Charging is another highlight of the Kia Syros EV. It supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in only 39 minutes. The SUV also supports 11 kW AC charging for regular home or workplace charging.
Premium Features Inside the Cabin
The cabin is packed with premium technology and comfort features. Buyers will get a digital display, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, Harman Kardon sound system, Vehicle to Load technology, and a 360 degree camera. The SUV also includes connected car features for a smarter driving experience.
Advanced Safety Features
Kia has equipped the Syros EV with a strong list of safety technologies. It comes with Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and several driver assistance systems designed to improve safety on the road.
