A tragic incident reported from Wanaparthy district has left local residents deeply disturbed after four members of a family were found dead at a mango farm in Salkalapur village under Killa Ghanpur mandal.

According to initial information, Narasimha, a tenant farmer from Dokur village in Devarkadra mandal, had taken a mango orchard on lease and had been living there with his family while taking care of the farm.

The incident came to light on Thursday morning after local residents reached the orchard and noticed the disturbing scene. Police officials were informed immediately and teams rushed to the location for investigation.

Authorities examined the spot and collected evidence with the assistance of forensic teams. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for postmortem procedures while police registered a case and started an inquiry into the incident.

Villagers suspect that financial difficulties and debt related pressure may have contributed to the family’s distress, though officials said the exact reason would become clear only after a detailed investigation. The incident has left both Dokur and Salkalapur villages in grief and shock.
