Tragic Fire Claims Three Lives in Miryalaguda
A devastating fire accident in Miryalaguda left three family members dead after flames engulfed their home. A suspected short circuit and subsequent cylinder blast worsened the tragedy.

A heartbreaking fire accident in Miryalaguda town of Nalgonda district has claimed the lives of three members of the same family. The incident occurred late on Thursday night and has left the local community in shock.
According to preliminary information, a fire broke out in a small house located in the Kalalawada area where Vanam Chandrakala (45) was living with her grandson Laxman (16) and granddaughter Pranathi (14). Authorities suspect that an electrical short circuit may have triggered the blaze while the family was asleep.
Residents who noticed the flames rushed to help and attempted to rescue the occupants. However, the situation turned more dangerous when an LPG gas cylinder inside the house exploded with a loud blast. The explosion caused the fire to spread rapidly throughout the structure, trapping the victims inside.
The tragedy is even more painful considering the family’s recent hardships. Chandrakala’s husband had reportedly passed away due to illness just a month ago. Meanwhile, the children’s mother had recently moved to Pune for work, leaving the grandmother responsible for their care.
Fire department personnel arrived at the scene and managed to bring the flames under control. Police officials also visited the location, collected evidence, and launched an investigation into the exact cause of the incident. The bodies were shifted to a local hospital for post-mortem examination.
