Telangana Woman Missing: A young woman from Telangana has reportedly gone missing at Istanbul International Airport while travelling from the United States to Hyderabad, triggering concern among family members and prompting intervention from government authorities.

The missing woman, identified as Bomma Rajasri from Medchal Malkajgiri district, had completed her higher education in the United States and was returning home after finishing her studies. According to family members, she departed from Houston on June 14 and arrived in Istanbul as scheduled before her onward journey to Hyderabad.

Authorities became aware of the situation after it was found that Rajasri did not board her connecting flight that was supposed to take her onward through Muscat to Hyderabad. Airport records reportedly indicated that she arrived in Istanbul but never boarded the next scheduled flight.

The Telangana government has taken the matter seriously and initiated efforts to trace her whereabouts. Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao reportedly reached out to the Indian diplomatic mission and sought immediate assistance from authorities in Turkey to locate the missing woman.

Family members say Rajasri had spoken to her mother before boarding the flight in the United States. Since then, her mobile phone has remained switched off, adding to the uncertainty surrounding her disappearance. The whereabouts of her luggage also remain unclear.

Another aspect that has raised concern is that her travel booking reportedly included wheelchair assistance. Despite this arrangement, there has been no clear information about what happened after she landed at Istanbul Airport.

According to relatives, Rajasri had been facing emotional distress following the recent death of her father. The family fears that her disappearance under such circumstances makes the situation even more worrying.

Officials have requested support from airport authorities, local law enforcement agencies, and diplomatic channels to track her movements. Contact details of relatives in both Telangana and the United States have also been shared with concerned authorities to aid the search effort.

Meanwhile, Bhongir Member of Parliament Kiran Kumar Chamala stated that he has taken up the matter with the Ministry of External Affairs and other concerned agencies. Efforts are reportedly underway to review airport surveillance footage and travel records in hopes of locating the missing Telangana woman and ensuring her safe return.
