Telangana Starts MeeSeva Urea Booking: The Telangana government has introduced a new facility allowing farmers to book urea through MeeSeva centers, making the fertilizer booking process simpler and more accessible across the state.
Under the new system, farmers no longer need to rely only on the official mobile application. Those without the app can visit any MeeSeva center and complete their urea booking using their PPB number. After OTP verification, a booking ID will be generated immediately.
The government stated that the booking ID will remain valid for 48 hours. Farmers must purchase the booked urea from the dealer they selected during the booking process. Officials clarified that this is the only authorized method for reserving fertilizer.
The service charge for booking through MeeSeva has been fixed at Rs 10. The government also emphasized that an active mobile number is mandatory for successful OTP verification and booking.
Farmers who need assistance or have any questions have been advised to contact their local AEO, MAO, or the nearest MeeSeva center for guidance regarding the new urea booking facility.
