Telangana Jana Sena Hits Back at Critics Over Pawan Kalyan Political Entry

Telangana Jana Sena leaders defended Pawan Kalyan against criticism from political rivals, accusing opponents of fearing his growing influence and potential impact on the state's politics.

Telangana Jana Sena leaders have strongly responded to recent remarks made against party chief Pawan Kalyan by Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and BRS leader Kavitha. The party accused its critics of being uneasy about Pawan Kalyan’s increasing popularity and his growing role in Telangana politics.

Speaking to the media, Jana Sena leader Sagar questioned why political opponents were repeatedly targeting Pawan Kalyan. He said there was nothing wrong with a film actor entering public life and serving people through politics. According to him, leaders should be judged by their commitment and performance rather than their professional background.

Sagar argued that the criticism directed at Pawan Kalyan reflected political insecurity. He claimed that the prospect of the Jana Sena chief becoming more active in Telangana had created concern among established political leaders. He also questioned whether Jana Sena was being denied the same political space enjoyed by other parties in the state.

Referring to Pawan Kalyan’s support for various social and religious causes, Sagar asked why his contributions were ignored while his political activities were constantly questioned. He expressed confidence that permission would eventually be granted for the party’s proposed public meeting and said Jana Sena supporters were prepared to continue their political activities in the state.

Telangana Jana Sena president Shankar Goud also defended the party’s expansion plans. He questioned why some leaders appeared worried whenever Pawan Kalyan’s name was mentioned in Telangana politics. According to him, democracy should provide opportunities for new leaders and emerging political forces rather than being limited to a few established groups.

Shankar Goud pointed to Jana Sena’s electoral success in Andhra Pradesh and said the party was determined to strengthen its presence in Telangana as well. He stated that the party would contest elections in the state and work to build support among voters seeking an alternative political platform.

The Jana Sena leaders further accused their critics of applying different standards to political expansion. They questioned why objections were being raised against Pawan Kalyan’s political activities when leaders from other parties had previously attempted to expand beyond their home states.

The exchange of remarks has added fresh political heat ahead of Jana Sena’s proposed activities in Telangana, with both sides continuing to trade criticism over the party’s future role in the state’s political landscape.
