Telangana First Glass Bridge with Heart Design Takes Shape in Siddipet

Telangana is set to introduce its first glass bridge in Siddipet as tourism development projects continue with modern attractions and beautification works nearing completion.

Telangana’s tourism sector is preparing to welcome a new attraction as the state’s first glass bridge is rapidly taking shape in Siddipet district. The project is being developed at the historic Ellamma Lake in Husnabad and is already drawing attention from local residents and visitors.

Designed in a heart shaped pattern inspired by a love symbol, the bridge aims to become a unique destination for tourists. Officials believe the design and location will create a memorable experience and add a fresh identity to the area.

The project is being developed as part of a larger lake beautification initiative taken up under the supervision of Transport Minister and local MLA Ponnam Prabhakar. Authorities are focusing not only on the bridge but also on transforming the surrounding area into a complete recreational space.

Built with modern technology, the glass bridge is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.22 crore. The structure will extend approximately 150 meters in length with a width of five feet.

Several additional facilities are also being created around the lake to improve the visitor experience. Plans include a Bathukamma Ghat, walking tracks, landscaped gardens, decorative lighting and selfie points to turn the location into a full scale leisure spot.

Officials said construction work has entered its final stages and technical and safety inspections are expected to be completed over the next few months. Once opened, the project is expected to become one of Telangana’s major tourist attractions and the first of its kind in the state.
