Telangana Cabinet Meeting Tomorrow: Telangana Cabinet to Review Key Welfare and Infrastructure Plans

The Telangana Cabinet led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will discuss welfare initiatives, El Nino preparedness, Metro Rail progress, employee transfers, and road safety measures during Thursday meeting.

Telangana Cabinet Meeting Tomorrow: The Telangana Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Thursday at 3 pm in the State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Several important policy decisions and development issues are expected to be taken up during the meeting.

One of the major topics likely to be discussed is the implementation of the VBG Ramji Scheme. The Cabinet is expected to decide the next course of action for rolling out the welfare initiative and finalizing its execution plan.

The meeting may also focus on the impact of El Nino on agriculture. Ministers are expected to review crop conditions and consider measures to encourage alternative cultivation practices while preparing farmers for possible weather related challenges. Progress on Metro Rail projects and issues related to employee transfers between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are also likely to be on the agenda.

Separately, the Telangana Government has issued orders to establish an Electronic Monitoring and Enforcement System Design Authority for road safety in the Transport Department following directions from the Supreme Court.

The authority has been constituted under the Central Motor Vehicles Rules. It will be headed by the Transport Commissioner and include representatives from the Traffic Department, ITEC, Legal Metrology, and the Indian Institute of Technology to strengthen road safety monitoring and enforcement across the state.
