Six Killed in Rangareddy as POCSO Case Accused Goes on Murder Spree
A man accused in a POCSO case allegedly killed six people, including his wife, children and the complainant's family, before fleeing, triggering a massive police search.

A shocking multiple murder case has sent shockwaves across Telangana after a man accused in a POCSO case allegedly killed six people in Rangareddy district before escaping. Police have launched an extensive search operation to trace the suspect.
According to investigators, the accused, identified as 35 year old Rajkumar, allegedly first targeted the family of a teenage girl who had earlier filed a POCSO case against him. He is accused of attacking the girl’s mother and grandmother at their residence before abducting the minor.
Police said the girl was allegedly taken to a nearby lake, where she was assaulted and fatally stabbed. Her body was later abandoned at the location. Investigators believe the attack was linked to the criminal case registered against the accused earlier this year.
After the alleged attack on the girl’s family, Rajkumar reportedly returned to his home in Daivalaguda village. Police allege that he then killed his wife and their two young children while they were asleep, taking the total number of victims to six.

Authorities said the accused later informed his parents about the murders and allegedly indicated that he intended to end his own life before switching off his mobile phone and disappearing.
Police revealed that Rajkumar had earlier been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act on allegations of stalking and sexually harassing the minor girl. He had obtained anticipatory bail and was released on a personal bond as the offences carried a punishment of less than seven years.
Senior police officials, including the Police Commissioner, visited the crime scenes and reviewed the investigation. Multiple special teams have been formed to locate the accused, while investigators continue to examine the sequence of events and collect evidence.
Family members of the deceased woman alleged that domestic disputes began after the accused developed an inappropriate relationship with the minor girl. Police said all aspects of the case are under investigation.
