Low Pressure Brings Rain Relief Across Telangana as Weather Conditions Change

A change in weather conditions has brought welcome relief to many parts of Telangana, with light showers reported in several districts after a low pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal. The rainfall comes at a time when people across the state have been experiencing intense heat and uncomfortable humidity.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the weather system near the Odisha and West Bengal coast, along with an associated trough, is influencing atmospheric conditions over Telangana. As a result, scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds is likely in several northern and central districts.

Parts of Hyderabad also witnessed rainfall during the early hours, leading to cooler temperatures compared to previous days. Weather officials expect similar conditions to continue in different regions over the next few days, with occasional showers expected until around July 22.

Several districts, including Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Mulugu, Bhupalpally, Mancherial, and Komaram Bheem Asifabad, received light to moderate rainfall recently. These showers have helped reduce the impact of the recent hot weather.

Although widespread heavy rain is not expected at this stage, the current spell is likely to provide temporary relief from rising temperatures. Farmers are also hopeful that the rainfall will support agricultural activities, especially after the southwest monsoon delivered below expected rainfall in many areas.

Meteorologists said weather conditions will continue to be monitored closely as the low pressure system influences rainfall across the state over the coming days.
