KTR Expresses Pride as Foxconn Investment Takes Shape in Telangana

KTR welcomed the successful expansion of Foxconn in Telangana, saying the project has now become a major employment source and reflects long term industrial growth efforts.

BRS Working President and former IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao expressed happiness over the successful progress of the Foxconn project in Telangana, saying the investment has now transformed into a major employment generating initiative in the state.

The Foxconn manufacturing facility established at Kongara Kalan in Rangareddy district is now operating at full scale and providing jobs to thousands of people. KTR shared his views on social media, stating that seeing the project become a reality gives him a sense of pride and satisfaction.

He recalled that the foundations for the project were laid during the previous BRS government. According to KTR, the agreement for this large scale investment was signed three years ago in the presence of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and Foxconn Chairman Young Liu.

KTR said the vision behind the project was not limited to bringing industries into the state but also focused on creating long term opportunities for local youth. He noted that efforts made during that period are now benefiting thousands of families by providing livelihoods and strengthening the state’s industrial ecosystem.

Along with his message, KTR also shared older photographs from the memorandum signing ceremony and recent images showing workers employed at the factory. He described the journey of the project as an example of how planned investments can create lasting impact on employment and regional development.
