A disturbing murder case in Khammam has triggered outrage after a woman was allegedly killed and the incident was reportedly staged as a suicide.

A shocking crime reported from Khammam district has sparked outrage after a woman was allegedly murdered in a case linked to financial motives. Investigators are examining claims that the accused attempted to present the incident as a suicide after the crime took place.

The incident came to light in Gol Thanda of Tirumalayapalem mandal, where Meenakshi and Shivaji had reportedly been living with their two children. According to information shared by police and relatives, the couple had married through a love marriage around 14 years ago.

Family members claim the couple had been facing financial problems for some time. They allege that the situation eventually led to serious disputes inside the household. Police suspect that after the woman was attacked and killed, efforts were allegedly made to create a false impression that she had died by suicide.

Relatives have also pointed to a possible financial angle behind the incident. They claimed that the accused had large debts linked to housing loans and that an insurance policy worth around one crore rupees existed in the victim’s name. According to the family, there were concerns that insurance benefits could have been seen as a way to settle outstanding liabilities.

The victim’s relatives also stated that she had been subjected to mental and physical harassment over a period of time. Some video clips reportedly showing previous incidents of violence were shared with media representatives, raising further questions about the circumstances surrounding the case.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation from multiple angles. Officials are also examining whether there were additional factors connected to the incident while continuing efforts related to the accused.
