Insurance Murder Case: Wife and Lover Arrested After Murder Plot Exposed in Insurance Money Case

Insurance Murder Case: What initially appeared to be a tragic road accident in Telangana has now emerged as a chilling murder conspiracy. Police say a woman and her alleged lover carefully planned the killing of her husband and later attempted to present the death as an accident in order to avoid suspicion and gain access to insurance benefits.

The incident came to light in Kamareddy district, where 45 year old Rajayya from Markal village was found dead near a roadside location. His wife informed police that he had lost control of his motorcycle after an animal suddenly crossed his path, resulting in a fatal crash.

While the explanation seemed believable at first, investigators noticed inconsistencies during the inquiry. Officers began examining technical and forensic evidence, which gradually pointed away from an accident and toward a premeditated crime.

According to police findings, the victim’s wife Renuka had allegedly been involved in a relationship with a man identified as Gangashekhar for several years. Investigators believe the pair viewed Rajayya as an obstacle to their relationship and also saw an opportunity to benefit financially from insurance policies held in his name.

Police said the alleged plan was set in motion a day before the death. Gangashekhar reportedly took Rajayya to another location and gained his trust before providing him with large quantities of alcohol. Once the victim was heavily intoxicated, he was allegedly transported to an isolated area on the outskirts of a village.

Investigators allege that Rajayya was then attacked with an iron rod and suffered fatal head injuries. After the killing, the suspects allegedly moved the body and motorcycle to the roadside to create the appearance of a traffic accident.

The cover story began to unravel when police analyzed evidence collected from the scene and cross checked movements, communications, and other technical details. The findings reportedly contradicted the version initially presented by the suspects.

Authorities believe the alleged motive involved both the extramarital relationship and a plan to obtain insurance money following the victim’s death. What was intended to look like an unfortunate accident instead became the focus of a detailed criminal investigation.

Following the breakthrough, police arrested Renuka and Gangashekhar and produced them before a magistrate. Both were subsequently remanded as the investigation continued.

Senior police officials praised the investigative team for quickly solving the case. Officers involved in gathering evidence and reconstructing the sequence of events were commended for exposing what investigators describe as a carefully planned murder disguised as an accident.
