Corn Prices Rise to Rs 2,775: Corn farmers received some encouraging news as prices moved higher once again at the Warangal Enumamula agricultural market. The latest increase has brought some relief to growers arriving at the market with their harvested produce.

On Wednesday, corn was traded at a maximum price of Rs 2,775 per quintal. This marked an increase of Rs 25 compared with the previous day, when the commodity was priced at Rs 2,750 per quintal.

The steady movement in prices has attracted attention among farmers who are closely watching market rates before deciding when to sell their produce. Even a small increase can make a difference for farmers handling larger quantities of corn.

Farmer Samala Eshwar from Vardhannapet village in Warangal district was among those who benefited from the latest market rate. He brought 60 bags of corn to the Enumamula market for sale.

Traders purchased his produce at Rs 2,775 per quintal. The transaction gave the farmer a better return compared with the previous day’s rate and added to the positive sentiment among other farmers at the market.

Farmers expressed happiness over the increase and said the improved price was encouraging for those bringing their corn stocks to the market. The latest movement will now be closely watched as further arrivals reach the Enumamula market.
