ACB Catches Lady SI and Police Writer in Bribe Trap Case
Anti Corruption Bureau officials caught a Lady SI and police writer after allegedly accepting bribe money in exchange for providing relief from mandatory police station attendance.

Anti Corruption Bureau officials carried out a surprise operation at Boinpally Police Station and arrested a Lady Sub Inspector along with a police writer after they were allegedly caught accepting bribe money from a complainant.
According to officials, the issue began when a person involved in a family dispute case was required to appear at the police station every Monday as part of court directions. Since he planned to shift from Boinpally to Kondapur, he reportedly requested an exemption from regular attendance.
The complainant initially approached police writer Vijay Kumar seeking assistance regarding the issue. During discussions, an amount was allegedly demanded to arrange the exemption. Officials said the demand later increased, with the total amount reaching Rs 30000.
As the complainant was unwilling to pay the money, he approached Anti Corruption Bureau officials and lodged a complaint. Following the information, officers closely monitored the entire transaction and planned a trap operation.
Investigators said Lady SI Kiran Nandita allegedly instructed the complainant not to hand over the money directly. Instead, she reportedly gave the keys of her scooter and asked him to place the cash inside the vehicle’s storage compartment.
After the money was placed inside the scooter, ACB teams who had already been tracking the process moved in and caught Lady SI Kiran Nandita and writer Vijay Kumar. Officials also recovered the cash during the operation.
According to ACB sources, Kiran Nandita belongs to the 2024 batch of Sub Inspectors, while Vijay Kumar joined the police department as a constable in 2007. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
