Akhil Blockbuster Lenin Set for ZEE5 Streaming From August 7

Following a highly successful run in cinemas, Akhil Akkineni’s action drama Lenin is now heading to the digital platform. The makers have officially announced that the film will begin streaming on ZEE5 from August 7, giving audiences another opportunity to experience one of the biggest hits of the year.

To mark the OTT release, actor Nagarjuna Akkineni shared a special video message thanking moviegoers for making Lenin a commercial success in theatres. He invited viewers who missed the film on the big screen to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes and continue supporting the team.

Released in theatres on July 10, the rural action entertainer emerged as the highest grossing film of Akhil’s career. According to the producers, the movie crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, making it a milestone achievement for the young actor.

The film is making its digital debut less than a month after its theatrical release, allowing OTT audiences to watch the blockbuster without a long waiting period. The announcement has generated excitement among fans who were waiting for its streaming premiere.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin was jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Manam Enterprises and Sithara Entertainments banners. Bhagyashri Borse played the female lead, while the music was composed by S S Thaman, whose soundtrack received a positive response from audiences.

With strong box office performance and growing anticipation for its OTT release, Lenin is expected to attract a wide digital audience when it premieres on ZEE5.
