Toxic Beats Dhurandhar 2: Yash’s Toxic Hits Theatres After Record Pre Sale Response

Yash’s Toxic finally reached theatres after multiple delays, drawing strong pre sale interest and surpassing the ticket sales recorded by the blockbuster Dhurandhar 2.

Toxic Beats Dhurandhar 2: After several delays, Yash starrer Toxic has finally arrived in theatres, creating considerable buzz among moviegoers. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film had already generated strong interest before its release through its impressive advance bookings.

The pre sale numbers have now become one of the major talking points around the film. Toxic reportedly sold around 16 lakh tickets through pre bookings, moving ahead of Dhurandhar 2, which recorded about 14 lakh ticket sales during its pre sale period. The strong advance response has led trade observers to expect a potentially massive opening for the Yash starrer.

With the film now playing on the big screen, attention has shifted to its actual audience response and first day collections. Given the scale of the advance bookings, industry watchers are closely following whether Toxic can turn the early momentum into a major box office start.

Ahead of the release, the Toxic team also appealed to audiences to protect the theatrical experience. In a message shared on August 25, the makers asked viewers not to record scenes on their phones or share them online.

The team said the film was created over several years through the efforts of its actors, technicians and crew members and requested audiences to experience it on the big screen. Fans were also urged not to reveal important story details or twists after watching the movie.

The combination of Yash’s popularity, Geetu Mohandas’s direction and the film’s strong pre release response has made Toxic one of the most closely watched releases at the box office.
