Honor Play 20A Launches With 6000mAh Battery and 13MP Camera

Honor has quietly added a new budget smartphone to its lineup with the Honor Play 20A. The device has appeared on the brands official website, revealing most of its hardware details, although its price and sales availability have not been announced yet.

The phone appears aimed at buyers who want a large screen and long battery life without necessarily looking for high end performance.

Large display and battery

The Honor Play 20A features a 6.9 inch IPS display with a 720 by 1600 pixel resolution. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and everyday navigation feel smoother than a standard 60Hz panel.

Battery capacity is one of the phones stronger points. It comes with a 6000mAh battery, making it suitable for users who spend considerable time watching videos, browsing the internet or using social media.

MediaTek processor for everyday tasks

Under the hood, the smartphone uses an octa core MediaTek G81 processor. It is an entry level chipset designed primarily for everyday activities such as messaging, web browsing and video streaming.
