Three Killed in Idaho Restaurant Shooting as Police Launch Investigation

A shooting at a popular restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, claimed the lives of three people and left several others injured on Saturday, prompting a major emergency response and an ongoing police investigation.

According to local authorities, the gunfire erupted inside the In N Out restaurant during the afternoon, sending customers and staff into panic. Emergency responders quickly reached the scene, secured the area and rushed the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks confirmed the fatalities during a media briefing and said the suspected gunman was also found dead. However, officials have not yet disclosed the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s death or confirmed whether it was self inflicted or the result of police action.

Investigators are currently working to establish the identity of the suspect and determine the motive behind the attack. Police said the investigation remains active, and additional information will be released as evidence is examined.

As a precaution, authorities temporarily closed nearby roads, including a bridge close to the crime scene, and urged residents to avoid the area while emergency operations and forensic investigations were underway.

The latest incident has once again drawn attention to gun violence in the United States. It follows another shooting reported last month at a food festival in Seattle, where two people were killed and several others were injured, renewing concerns about public safety at crowded venues.
