Constable Dies by Suicide Inside Telangana DGP Office, Police Probe Circumstances

A police constable posted at the Telangana DGP office was found dead during duty hours as investigators began examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and possible personal factors.

A police constable assigned to the Telangana Director General of Police office was found dead early Thursday morning, prompting an internal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to preliminary information, the constable, identified as Swami, had been on night duty. He was later found with a fatal firearm injury inside the office premises after colleagues noticed his absence and alerted authorities.

Investigators believe the death may be linked to personal issues, though officials said the exact circumstances will be confirmed only after the investigation is completed. Police are collecting evidence and speaking with people who may help establish the sequence of events.
