After visiting the injured girl at NIMS Hospital, BRS leader Kavitha urged the government to provide a monthly pension, housing support, and complete protection for the family.

Kavitha Seeks Aid for Survivor: TRS leader Kavitha has called on the Telangana government to provide a monthly pension of Rs 50,000 to the minor girl from Khammam who is undergoing treatment after a shocking and deeply disturbing incident. She said the support would help secure the child’s future and assist the family during a difficult period.
On Friday, Kavitha visited the survivor at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad and enquired about her health condition. Following the visit, she spoke to the media and described the incident as heartbreaking and deeply painful, saying it had shocked society and raised serious concerns about the safety of children.
She demanded the harshest possible punishment for the accused and urged authorities to ensure swift legal proceedings. According to Kavitha, strong action in such cases is essential to send a clear message that crimes against children will not be tolerated.
Expressing concern over reports that some individuals were allegedly pressuring the victim’s family to withdraw the case, Kavitha said such actions were unacceptable. She urged the government and law enforcement agencies to identify those responsible and take strict action against anyone attempting to influence or intimidate the family.
Kavitha also appealed for broader support measures for the survivor’s family. She requested the government to allot a house to the family and ensure complete security and protection. She said the family is facing emotional and financial hardships and requires immediate assistance from the state.
Highlighting the importance of timely justice, she stated that police and government agencies must respond quickly in sensitive cases and ensure that victims receive support without delay. She added that prompt action would strengthen public confidence and create greater fear among offenders.
