Multiple smartphones from iQOO and Vivo including iQOO 15 series Neo 10 and Vivo T5 Pro have become more expensive in India amid rising component costs and market pressure affecting recent pricing trends

A noticeable shift in smartphone pricing has been observed in the market as several popular models from iQOO and Vivo have reportedly become more expensive. The price changes come at a time when rising global component costs and supply chain pressures continue to impact the electronics industry, leading to steady price increases across multiple segments.
The latest revisions have affected models including iQOO 15, iQOO 15R, iQOO Neo 10, and Vivo T5 Pro. According to industry reports shared by tipster Sanju Chaudhary on X, the price hike across these devices ranges from around 1000 rupees to nearly 3000 rupees depending on the variant. This trend reflects the ongoing pressure on smartphone manufacturers due to memory chip shortages and increasing investment in advanced technologies.
Starting with the flagship segment, the iQOO 15 series has seen a price revision across its variants. The 12GB plus 256GB model, originally launched at 72999 rupees, is now priced at 74999 rupees. Similarly, the 16GB plus 512GB variant has moved from 79999 rupees to 81999 rupees. Despite the price hike, the phone continues to attract attention due to its premium specifications including a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 2K Samsung OLED display, and a large 7000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
Moving to the mid premium category, the iQOO 15R has also witnessed an upward revision. The 8GB plus 256GB variant has increased from 46999 rupees to 47999 rupees. The 12GB plus 256GB model has gone up from 50999 rupees to 52999 rupees, while the 12GB plus 512GB variant now costs 59999 rupees instead of 57999 rupees. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and features a slim design along with a massive 7600mAh battery and a 144Hz AMOLED display.
The iQOO Neo 10 is another model impacted by the price adjustment. Its 8GB plus 256GB variant has increased from 37999 rupees to 39999 rupees. The higher 12GB plus 256GB variant has moved from 42999 rupees to 44999 rupees. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and a 7000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, making it a strong performer in its segment despite the price rise.
Vivo has also revised the pricing of its Vivo T5 Pro, which has been popular among users since launch. The 8GB plus 128GB variant, initially priced at 29999 rupees, is now available at 32999 rupees. The 8GB plus 256GB model has also increased from 33999 rupees to 36999 rupees. The device features a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, and a 50 megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization.
The ongoing price hikes highlight a broader trend in the smartphone industry where increasing production costs and component shortages are directly influencing retail prices. As manufacturers continue to balance performance upgrades with market pressures, consumers are likely to see further fluctuations in pricing across upcoming device launches.
