Ultraviolette Launches Kill the Petrol Bill Campaign Offering Up to 30 Thousand Rupees Cashback on Electric Bikes
Ultraviolette introduces a limited time campaign offering cashback up to 30 thousand rupees on electric motorcycles, encouraging petrol vehicle users to switch to F77 and X47 models with calculated savings benefits.

Ultraviolette Automotive has rolled out a new initiative aimed at accelerating the shift from petrol powered two wheelers to electric motorcycles in India. The company’s latest campaign, called Kill the Petrol Bill, is designed to make EV adoption more attractive by offering customers cashback benefits of up to 30 thousand rupees when they exchange their petrol vehicles for Ultraviolette electric bikes.
The offer currently applies to two of the company’s flagship models, the Ultraviolette F77 series and the Ultraviolette X47. The F77 lineup starts at an ex showroom price of 3.09 lakh rupees, while the X47 begins at 2.49 lakh rupees. With this campaign, the company is trying to reduce the entry barrier for customers who are considering switching to electric mobility.
The cashback structure under this program is not fixed for everyone. Instead, it is calculated based on how much the customer has used their previous petrol powered two wheeler. To qualify, buyers are required to provide the registration certificate of their old vehicle along with the current odometer reading at the time of purchase. These details help determine the final benefit amount.
The calculation process follows a simple usage based formula. Ultraviolette first estimates the average annual distance traveled using the vehicle’s age and odometer reading. This annual usage figure is then multiplied by two to determine the final cashback value. In simple terms, the company is rewarding customers based on approximately two years of riding distance from their previous petrol vehicle.
For example, if a customer’s old two wheeler has covered 60000 kilometers over five years, the average yearly usage comes to around 12000 kilometers. Based on the campaign formula, the cashback would be calculated as twice the annual usage, resulting in a benefit of around 24000 rupees. In some cases, depending on multiple vehicle usage history, the cashback can go up to the maximum limit of 30000 rupees.
Ultraviolette has clarified that this offer is open to all petrol two wheelers, regardless of brand or model. However, proper documentation is essential for verification. The company’s team checks both the registration certificate and odometer reading before approving the final cashback amount.
This campaign is part of Ultraviolette’s broader effort to promote electric mobility in India by making high performance EV motorcycles more accessible. By linking savings directly to fuel usage history, the company is also highlighting the long term financial advantage of switching from petrol to electric vehicles.
