Vivo X Fold 6 Leak Suggests Massive 6900mAh Battery and Flagship Upgrades
Vivo X Fold 6 appears on China 3C certification listing with dual cell battery setup, expected 6900mAh capacity, upgraded cameras, powerful chipset hints, and upcoming foldable competition shaping the premium smartphone market.

The foldable smartphone market is once again heating up as new details about the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 have surfaced online. The device is expected to arrive soon in China, continuing Vivo’s push in the premium foldable segment where competition is already intense.
Interestingly, the Vivo X Fold 6 has been spotted on China’s 3C certification platform, revealing a dual-cell battery configuration of 2807mAh and 3863mAh units. When combined, the typical battery capacity is expected to reach around 6900mAh, which would make it one of the largest batteries in the foldable category so far.
This leak also suggests that Vivo is focusing heavily on endurance this time. Foldable phones usually struggle with battery constraints due to dual displays, but the X Fold 6 may address this limitation with its larger power unit and improved efficiency design.
Performance-wise, early reports indicate that the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. If accurate, this would position the phone firmly in the flagship category, offering strong multitasking and gaming capabilities suited for a foldable form factor.
Camera upgrades are also expected to be a major highlight. The Vivo X Fold 6 may feature a 200 megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera. This setup suggests Vivo is aiming to compete directly with top-tier foldables in photography performance.
The phone was previously spotted in the IMEI database as well, strengthening expectations of an imminent launch. It is likely to debut in China first, where the foldable smartphone race is becoming increasingly competitive with brands like Oppo and Honor preparing their next generation devices.
Security and usability features are also expected to remain practical, with a side mounted fingerprint sensor likely included. This follows Vivo’s earlier design approach seen in its previous foldable models.
Looking back at the predecessor, the Vivo X Fold 5 offered an 8.03 inch AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. It also included a 6.53 inch cover screen and ran on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a triple 50 megapixel camera system. The device carried a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
With the X Fold 6, Vivo appears ready to push the boundaries further in both battery capacity and imaging technology. If these leaks turn out to be accurate, the new foldable could become a significant upgrade in Vivo’s premium lineup and a strong contender in the evolving foldable smartphone space.
