More Than 45 OPPO Devices Expected to Receive Major ColorOS 17 Upgrade

OPPO users may soon receive the Android 17 based ColorOS 17 update, with more than forty five smartphones and tablets expected to gain new features and performance improvements.

OPPO users could soon be in for a major software refresh as reports suggest that the company is preparing its next generation operating system update based on Android 17. The upcoming ColorOS 17 platform is expected to bring significant changes and improvements, potentially transforming the experience of dozens of existing smartphones and tablets.

According to recent industry reports, ColorOS 17 may not be a routine yearly update. Early information indicates that OPPO is planning a more substantial upgrade packed with new features, system enhancements and performance optimizations. This has generated considerable excitement among users eager to see what the next version of the software will offer.

As Google moves closer to releasing Android 17, smartphone manufacturers are also expected to begin adapting their own custom interfaces. OPPO’s ColorOS 17 is likely to be one of the first major software launches built around the new Android platform. Although the company has not yet officially announced the rollout schedule, speculation continues to grow about which devices will be included.

Several flagship devices from the Find X series are expected to receive the update. The list reportedly includes models from the latest Find X9 lineup as well as previous generations such as the Find X8 and Find X7 families. Even older premium devices including the Find X6 series are believed to remain eligible under OPPO’s software support policy.

Foldable smartphone users are also expected to benefit. Devices from the Find N family, including recent foldable and flip models, are reportedly on track to receive the Android 17 based software upgrade. This would ensure that premium foldable users continue to receive the latest software features and security improvements.

The popular Reno series is another major focus of the expected rollout. Multiple generations of Reno smartphones, ranging from the latest Reno 15 family to earlier Reno 11 models, are believed to be included. This broad coverage reflects the importance of the Reno lineup in OPPO’s overall smartphone strategy.

Midrange customers may also receive good news. Reports suggest that several smartphones from the F series and K series are likely to qualify for the upcoming update. Devices such as the F33, F31, F29 and K13 families are expected to gain access to the new software experience, extending support to a wider segment of users.

Tablet owners have not been left out either. The OPPO Pad series, including the Pad 5, Pad 3 and Pad SE, is reportedly among the devices expected to receive ColorOS 17. This would bring a more consistent software ecosystem across OPPO’s smartphone and tablet product categories.

While the reported list covers more than 45 products, it is important to note that OPPO has not yet released an official compatibility list. The information currently circulating is based on analysis of the company’s previous software support commitments and update history. As a result, the final list could differ when the company makes a formal announcement.

One notable observation is the absence of OPPO A series smartphones from the expected lineup. Industry observers believe this may be linked to the software support policies associated with those devices. However, there remains a possibility that some A series models could be added later depending on regional strategies and product support decisions.

For users whose devices appear on the expected eligibility list, the outlook is promising. ColorOS 17 is anticipated to deliver a refreshed user interface, enhanced system stability, stronger security protections and deeper integration with Android 17 features. Many customers view major software updates as a way to make older devices feel new again without upgrading to entirely new hardware.

Until OPPO confirms the official rollout plan, users will need to wait for further announcements. However, if the reported eligibility list proves accurate, a large number of OPPO smartphone and tablet owners could soon gain access to one of the company’s most significant software upgrades in recent years.
