The device also runs on HarmonyOS 6.1, offering a smooth and optimized software experience.
On the design and display front, the Nova 16 Pro features a 6.84 inch OLED screen with a sharp 2856×1320 pixel resolution. It supports a 1 to 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, along with 2160Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort. The display is protected by Kunlun Glass, adding extra durability for everyday use. The phone also carries an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and light water exposure.
One of the most talked about features is its camera setup. The Nova 16 Pro includes a 200MP primary sensor, supported by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra wide macro camera. On the front, it offers a 50MP selfie camera for high quality video calls and portraits. Huawei has also added AI based imaging tools, portrait enhancement features, telephoto optimization, and support for 4K video recording, making it a strong option for photography enthusiasts.
Performance is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset, which is designed to handle demanding applications and AI driven features efficiently. Another highlight is its two way Beidou satellite messaging support, allowing users to stay connected even in remote areas where traditional networks may not work.
Pricing varies depending on storage options. The 256GB variant is priced at 3,899 CNY, while the 512GB model costs 4,399 CNY. The top end 1TB version is priced at 4,999 CNY.
