Oppo has officially expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the new Oppo Pad 6, a premium device aimed at users looking for performance, entertainment and productivity in a single package. The tablet arrives with several flagship grade features including a high refresh rate display, a large battery and the latest Android based software experience.
The company has also introduced a special Soft Light Edition of the tablet, offering a unique screen finish designed to deliver a more comfortable viewing experience. With multiple RAM and storage variants available, Oppo appears to be targeting both casual users and heavy multitaskers with this launch.
One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo Pad 6 is its large 12.1 inch LCD display. The screen comes with a resolution of 3000 × 2120 pixels and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, gaming and animations feel extremely smooth. Oppo says the display can reach up to 900 nits brightness, which should help during outdoor usage or while watching HDR content. The panel also supports a 540Hz touch sampling rate for faster touch response.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and as much as 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. This hardware setup is expected to deliver strong performance for gaming, content creation and multitasking. Oppo Pad 6 runs on Android 16 based ColorOS 16 out of the box, bringing the latest software features and improved tablet optimization.
Battery life is another area where the new tablet stands out. Oppo has packed a large 10420mAh battery inside the device along with support for 67W wired fast charging. The company claims the combination is designed to handle long entertainment sessions, office work and gaming without frequent charging breaks. Despite the massive battery, the tablet maintains a slim profile with a thickness of just 5.99mm and weighs around 579 grams.
For photography and video calls, the Oppo Pad 6 features an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. While tablets are rarely bought for camera performance, these sensors should comfortably handle online meetings, classes and casual photography needs.
The device also comes equipped with modern connectivity options including Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type C port. Oppo has additionally included several onboard sensors such as an Ambient Light Sensor, Hall Sensor, Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor to improve the overall user experience.
Oppo has launched the tablet in different memory configurations. The base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3499, which roughly translates to Rs 49000. The 12GB RAM and 512GB model costs around Rs 54700, while the top end 16GB RAM and 512GB version is priced close to Rs 60300.

Buyers will be able to choose between Deep Space Gray and Galaxy Silver color options for the standard version, while the Soft Light Edition comes in a Starlight Blue finish.
With its premium design, high refresh rate display and large battery, Oppo Pad 6 enters the market as a strong competitor in the flagship Android tablet category.
