The trailer and promotional campaign for The Paradise have generated interest among audiences, but the production team said some posts appearing on X and other online platforms went beyond normal criticism. According to the petition, the posts could affect the film’s reputation and commercial prospects.

After hearing the matter, the Additional City Civil and Sessions Court in Bengaluru examined the material submitted by the production company. The court found that the posts and links cited in the case could adversely affect the commercial value of the film, according to the reported proceedings.

The court subsequently directed social media platforms to remove the identified posts and links. The order is an interim direction while the broader matter remains before the court.

The case was filed by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the production company behind The Paradise. The makers sought legal protection after claiming that online content targeting the film was being circulated with the potential to affect its business ahead of the theatrical release.

The issue reportedly came into focus after the film’s teaser was released on August 6. Following the teaser launch, several discussions and posts about the movie appeared across social media platforms. The production team objected to what it described as intentional negative content.

The court has now scheduled the next hearing for October 28. The interim order means the dispute will continue to be considered as the legal proceedings move forward.

The Paradise stars Nani in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Odela. The film has been positioned as one of the major releases in Nani’s upcoming lineup, with the makers planning a wide theatrical release.

With the release date approaching, the court order provides temporary relief to the production team in its dispute over the identified online material. The removal direction applies to the posts and links specifically covered by the court proceedings.
