Ai Plus Nova 2 Power 5G Launches in India With 7000mAh Battery

Ai Plus has entered the Indian smartphone market with its new Nova 2 Power 5G, bringing a large battery and 5G connectivity to a segment where buyers are usually focused on getting more features for their money.

The smartphone has been introduced in two storage configurations, with the starting effective price set at Rs 15,999. The company is also highlighting its large 7000mAh battery and 48 megapixel main camera as two of the major attractions of the device.

The first sale is scheduled to begin on September 24 at 12 noon through Flipkart. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version is priced at Rs 16,999, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model costs Rs 17,999. The effective starting price is Rs 15,999 according to the launch offer details.

Buyers will have five colour choices. These include Deep Purple, Blue Fusion, Golden Blue Fusion, Midnight Black and Ocean Green. The Blue Fusion version gives the phone a particularly distinctive appearance, while the other shades offer more conventional choices.

The phone also comes with several accessories in the retail box. Customers will get a charging adapter, USB Type C cable, SIM ejector tool and a transparent protective case along with the handset.

The Nova 2 Power 5G uses a 6.75 inch HD Plus IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A higher refresh rate can make everyday scrolling and supported content appear smoother. The display also has a punch hole cutout in the centre for the front camera.

The design follows a rounded approach, with curved edges around the body. The rear panel carries the Ai Plus branding in the centre, while the right side houses the power button and volume controls. The power button receives a red highlight that adds a small visual touch to the otherwise simple design.

The software experience is handled by the company’s nxtQ OS, which is based on Android 16. This gives the phone a newer software platform while keeping the device focused on the everyday features expected from a budget 5G smartphone.

Camera hardware is another major part of the Nova 2 Power 5G. The rear camera setup sits inside a square shaped module with two prominent camera rings and an LED flash.

The primary rear camera uses a 48 megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor. It is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, giving users the option to capture wider scenes in addition to standard photographs.

For selfies and video calls, the phone carries a 13 megapixel front camera. The camera is positioned inside the punch hole on the front display.
