Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G Launches Globally With 10000mAh Battery

Oppo has expanded the availability of its A7 Pro Max 5G smartphone beyond its home market, bringing the device to several international markets. The phone has now reached countries including Thailand, Malaysia and Austria after its earlier domestic launch.

The battery is easily the most noticeable feature of the new Oppo smartphone. The A7 Pro Max 5G carries a massive 10000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging. Oppo has also added 27W reverse charging, allowing the phone to provide power to other compatible devices.

The global version has been introduced with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Pricing differs across markets, with the phone listed at MYR 2,299 in Malaysia, around Rs 54,000. In Austria, it costs €599, approximately Rs 66,000, while the Thailand price is THB 19,999, around Rs 57,500.

Oppo is offering the phone in Surfing Blue and Lunar Black colour options. The two finishes give buyers a choice between a brighter design and a more traditional dark appearance.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 by 1272 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which is designed to provide smoother scrolling and movement while navigating supported applications.

Performance comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. The processor is manufactured using a 4nm process and is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage capacity goes up to 256GB using UFS 3.1 technology.

The phone runs Android 16 out of the box with ColorOS 16. This gives the device access to the latest software platform included with the global model, along with Oppo’s customised interface and features.

Photography is handled by a 50 megapixel main camera on the rear. The primary sensor includes optical image stabilisation, which can help reduce unwanted movement while taking photographs or recording video.

A 2 megapixel monochrome sensor is placed alongside the main camera. For selfies and video calls, Oppo has equipped the phone with a 50 megapixel front camera.

Both the front and rear cameras can record video at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. The camera setup therefore focuses on high resolution sensors while keeping video recording specifications relatively straightforward.

The 10000mAh battery gives the A7 Pro Max 5G a different position compared with many mainstream smartphones. Such a large capacity could appeal particularly to users who spend long hours away from a charger or frequently use their phone for entertainment and communication.

The reverse charging feature adds another practical use. With 27W reverse charging support, the handset can be used to provide power to compatible accessories or another device when required.

Security is handled through an optical fingerprint sensor integrated into the display. The phone also supports NFC, giving users another connectivity option for compatible accessories and supported payment or communication functions.

Durability is another area where Oppo has focused attention. The A7 Pro Max 5G carries an IP69K rating for protection against dust and water under specified testing conditions.

The global launch gives Oppo a new option in markets where buyers are looking for smartphones with unusually large batteries. Instead of focusing only on slim dimensions or maximum camera specifications, the A7 Pro Max 5G puts endurance and charging capacity at the centre of its feature list.

With the combination of a 10000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, reverse charging, 120Hz AMOLED display and 50 megapixel cameras, the phone offers a specification package aimed at users who prioritise battery life and everyday functionality.
