Samsung Galaxy S26 Series May Get Price Hike in India

Samsung Galaxy S26 series may see price increases of up to Rs 20,000 in India, with the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra reportedly affected across several storage variants.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series buyers in India may soon have to pay more for some variants, according to a claim circulating online. The reported change comes shortly after the arrival of the iPhone 18 Pro series, although there is currently no official confirmation from Samsung linking the two developments.

The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra are all reportedly included in the possible price revision. Depending on the model and storage configuration, the increase could range from Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000.

The Galaxy S26 is said to be facing a Rs 12,000 increase on both of its listed storage configurations. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version, which was previously priced at Rs 87,999, could reportedly reach Rs 99,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model may move from Rs 1,07,999 to Rs 1,19,999.

A larger increase has reportedly been proposed for the Galaxy S26 Plus. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant originally carried a launch price of Rs 1,19,999. If the reported revision takes effect, the same model could be priced at Rs 1,39,999.

The 512GB version of the Galaxy S26 Plus could also see a similar change. Its earlier price of Rs 1,39,999 is reportedly expected to rise to Rs 1,59,999. That would represent an increase of Rs 20,000 for the higher storage option.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also mentioned in the pricing report. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, previously priced at Rs 1,39,999, could reportedly increase to Rs 1,59,999.

The 512GB Galaxy S26 Ultra could see the same Rs 20,000 increase, taking its reported price from Rs 1,59,999 to Rs 1,79,999. The top end 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model may also become more expensive, with its reported price moving from Rs 1,89,999 to Rs 2,09,999.

These figures have been attributed to a post shared on X by tipster Abhishek Yadav. However, a tipster claim should not be treated as confirmation of a company decision, particularly when official pricing information has not changed.

Samsung has not announced a Galaxy S26 series price revision at the time of writing. The companys official online store was reportedly still showing the phones at their existing launch prices or applicable discounted prices.

The timing of the reported increase has nevertheless attracted attention. The iPhone 18 Pro series has recently entered the market, creating another major premium smartphone option for Indian consumers. However, there is no official statement from Samsung indicating that its Galaxy S26 pricing has been changed because of Apples latest iPhone launch.

For buyers considering the Galaxy S26 series, the difference between the reported prices and the current official listings is therefore important. Until Samsung updates its store or issues a formal announcement, the existing official prices remain the more reliable reference.

The reported changes also show how pricing can become an important factor in the premium smartphone market. Even a Rs 12,000 increase can significantly alter the cost of a flagship phone, while a Rs 20,000 difference can make an even bigger impact on higher storage configurations.

For now, customers should check Samsungs official listings before placing an order rather than relying only on the reported revised prices. If the company officially confirms the increase, the new prices are expected to become visible across the affected models and storage variants.
