itel Zeno 300 India Launch Teased With 6000mAh Battery

itel Zeno 300 is set to launch in India with a 6000mAh battery, dual rear cameras and ULTRALINK connectivity, while Amazon has revealed several details ahead of its official launch.

Amazon India has started teasing the upcoming itel Zeno 300, giving smartphone buyers an early look at some of the features before the company announces the complete launch details. The new handset has appeared on a dedicated Amazon microsite, although the exact India launch date has not yet been revealed.

The battery is likely to be one of the biggest attractions of the Zeno 300. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6000mAh battery, which should appeal to users who prefer longer usage between charges. The company is also expected to offer fast charging support, although the charging speed has not been disclosed yet.

Memory is another area where itel is highlighting the phone. The Zeno 300 is listed with 4GB of physical RAM, while virtual RAM support can increase the effective memory to as much as 12GB. The phone is expected to use up to 8GB of virtual RAM, allowing users to keep more applications active during everyday use.

The design shown through the Amazon listing gives the Zeno 300 a familiar modern smartphone appearance. At the front, the handset has a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. The right side carries the volume controls and power button, keeping the main controls within easy reach.

At the back, the phone features a square shaped camera module with two rear cameras and an LED flash. The design gives the handset a distinctive appearance that may remind some users of the camera styling seen on recent premium smartphones. itel has also indicated that the camera system will include special features, but those details have not been revealed so far.

The company is also focusing on durability. The Zeno 300 is described as a durable smartphone and is said to carry MIL STD 810H certification. This standard is associated with testing against a range of environmental and physical conditions, although the exact tests applicable to this particular device have not been detailed by itel.

Connectivity could be the most unusual feature of the upcoming phone. itel is introducing a feature called ULTRALINK, which the company says can provide communication even when a conventional mobile network is unavailable. If the feature works as described, it could be useful in locations where cellular coverage is limited or absent.

The availability of network independent communication could give the Zeno 300 a different identity in the entry level smartphone segment. However, itel has not yet explained all the technical details of ULTRALINK, including its operating range, supported functions and requirements. More information is expected closer to the launch.

The colour options have also been revealed ahead of the official announcement. The Zeno 300 is expected to arrive in white, black and purple shades, giving buyers multiple choices when the phone goes on sale.

While Amazon has already revealed several important specifications, some major details are still missing. The processor, display specifications, storage options, camera resolutions, charging speed and price have not been fully announced.

The upcoming smartphone is therefore shaping up around a combination of a large battery, expandable effective RAM, dual cameras and additional connectivity features. The MIL STD 810H certification also adds to its focus on durability.

With the Amazon microsite now live, itel is expected to reveal the remaining information soon. The official launch date and price will be particularly important for buyers waiting to see where the Zeno 300 fits within the companys smartphone lineup.

For now, the 6000mAh battery, up to 12GB effective RAM, dual rear cameras and ULTRALINK connectivity remain the main highlights of the itel Zeno 300. More details about its hardware and pricing should become available with the official India launch announcement.
