Samsung Galaxy A08 4G Spotted With 6000mAh Battery
Samsung Galaxy A08 4G has appeared in a UAE retail listing with a 6000mAh battery, 50 megapixel camera, 90Hz display and expected entry level pricing.

Samsung appears to be preparing another affordable smartphone for its Galaxy A series. The Samsung Galaxy A08 4G has reportedly surfaced through a UAE retailer, giving an early look at its possible specifications, pricing and design related details.
The upcoming model is expected to replace the Galaxy A07 4G and could remain focused on buyers looking for a basic Samsung smartphone with a large battery. Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy A08 4G yet, so the specifications revealed through the retailer listing should be considered unconfirmed until the company provides details.
The Virgin Megastore UAE listing reportedly mentions a dual SIM version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at AED 625, which is approximately Rs 16,300. A 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration has also been mentioned. The final price could vary between markets depending on taxes and local pricing.
The Galaxy A08 4G is expected to retain a large display similar to its predecessor. The retail information points to a 6.7 inch PLS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. A higher refresh rate can make everyday scrolling and animations feel smoother compared with a standard 60Hz display.
Storage should also be flexible for users who need more space. The reported configurations include up to 128GB of internal storage, while a microSD card slot is expected to allow additional storage to be added. This could be useful for buyers who store photos, videos and applications on their phones.
Processing power could come from an unnamed octa core chipset with reported clock speeds reaching 2.2GHz and 2GHz. These figures have been linked to the MediaTek Helio G99 in earlier reports, although Samsung has not confirmed the processor name. Previous Google Play Console information had also suggested that the smartphone could run on Android.
Battery capacity is one of the biggest reported upgrades. The Galaxy A08 4G is expected to feature a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. A battery of this size could appeal to users who prioritise longer usage between charges, particularly those who spend a lot of time watching videos, browsing or using social media.
For photography, the smartphone is reportedly equipped with a 50 megapixel primary rear camera. It could be paired with a 2 megapixel depth sensor, while an 8 megapixel front camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls.
Samsung may also provide some protection against everyday exposure to dust and water. The reported IP64 rating indicates protection against dust and water splashes under specified conditions. The phone is expected to measure around 8.0mm in thickness.
Colour choices could include Dark Blue, Green and Silver, giving buyers several straightforward options. The combination of a large battery, expandable storage and a 50 megapixel camera could help Samsung position the device toward budget conscious consumers.
According to earlier reports, Samsung could introduce the Galaxy A08 4G in some markets from October. A 5G version is reportedly expected later, potentially around January or February 2027. These launch timelines have not been officially confirmed by Samsung.
For now, the UAE retailer listing provides the strongest indication of what Samsung may be preparing. More details about the exact processor, software version, camera performance, Indian pricing and launch date are likely to become clearer if the company officially announces the Galaxy A08 4G.
