Vivo Buds Launch in India at ₹1,999 With 50 Hour Battery
Vivo has launched its new affordable Vivo Buds in India with up to 50 hours of battery life, low gaming latency, Bluetooth 6.1, dual device support and fast charging.

Vivo has expanded its audio lineup in India with the launch of the new Vivo Buds. The company has positioned the wireless earbuds in the affordable segment, with a starting price of ₹1,999 and features aimed at users who want everyday audio as well as gaming support.
Battery life is one of the main highlights of the new earbuds. Vivo says the charging case can provide up to 50 hours of total playback, which means the earbuds can be used for more than two days before the complete setup needs another charge. The earbuds themselves can deliver up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge.
The Vivo Buds are available in Nilgiri Green and Basalt Black colour options. Buyers in India can purchase them through Vivo’s official website, Flipkart and authorised retail outlets.
For users who spend time playing mobile games, Vivo has included a 42 ms low gaming latency mode. The company has also equipped the earbuds with Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity. This supports Dual Channel Transmission 2.0 and provides a wireless range of up to 10 metres.
Another useful feature is dual device connectivity. Users can connect the earbuds with two compatible devices, making it easier to switch between devices without repeatedly pairing them. Google Fast Pair is also supported for quicker connection with compatible Android devices.
The audio hardware includes a 10 mm high resolution moving coil unit with a PU and PEEK diaphragm. Vivo has paired this hardware with several sound modes designed for different listening preferences.
The earbuds feature DeepX 4.0 Mega Bass for users who prefer stronger low frequency sound. There are also Clear Voice and Clear High Pitch modes, while a dedicated audiobook mode is included for people who regularly listen to spoken content.
Vivo has kept the physical design relatively simple, with a rounded charging case and ergonomically shaped ear tips. The design is intended to provide a comfortable fit across different ear shapes during regular use.
The earbuds also come with smart touch controls, allowing users to manage supported functions directly from the earbuds. Find My Earphones is another feature included with the device, which can be useful when the earbuds are misplaced.
Durability has also received attention. Vivo Buds carry an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes. This makes them better suited to everyday use, although the rating does not mean the earbuds should be submerged in water.
The charging setup is another area where Vivo has focused on convenience. The charging case houses a 525mAh battery, while each earbud has a 53mAh battery. According to the company, the complete setup can provide up to 50 hours of battery life.
The individual earbuds can provide up to 12 hours of playback, while battery life for calls is rated at up to seven hours. Actual usage can vary depending on volume levels, connectivity and other features being used.
Fast charging is also available. Vivo says a 10 minute charge can provide up to four hours of usage, which could be useful when users need to quickly recharge the earbuds before heading out.
At ₹1,999, Vivo Buds enter a competitive part of the Indian wireless earbud market. Instead of focusing only on basic audio playback, Vivo has included features such as low latency gaming, dual device connectivity, Bluetooth 6.1, smart controls and extended battery life.
The combination could make the new earbuds an option for users looking for an affordable wireless audio device with a feature rich package. The 50 hour total battery claim and 42 ms gaming latency are likely to attract particular attention from buyers who want longer usage and quicker response during gaming.
