Zoom Names Carlos Quaderi to Lead APAC Growth and AI Business Expansion

Zoom Communications Inc. has announced the appointment of Carlos Quaderi as its new Head of Asia Pacific APAC, with the leadership change taking effect on August 1, 2026. The move reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in one of its fastest growing regions.

In his new role, Quaderi will report directly to Chief Sales and Growth Officer Graeme Geddes and oversee Zoom’s commercial strategy across Australia and New Zealand, Asia, India and Korea, while Japan will continue to operate separately within the company’s regional structure.

Quaderi is no stranger to the organisation. He previously led Zoom’s operations across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan, where he played an important role in expanding regional sales, improving customer engagement and driving market growth. He will continue to be based in Singapore while managing the transition into his expanded responsibilities.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Quaderi has held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, where he led business expansion and market strategies across the Asia Pacific region.

Zoom said the appointment comes at a time when businesses are increasingly adopting AI powered platforms that simplify workflows, improve collaboration and help teams convert ideas into faster business outcomes. The company believes the growing demand for intelligent workplace solutions presents significant opportunities across the APAC market.

The company plans to strengthen its focus on the customer experience business, small and medium sized businesses and channel partnerships while continuing to expand its regional partner ecosystem.

Commenting on the appointment, Graeme Geddes said APAC remains one of Zoom’s most important growth markets. He noted that Quaderi’s understanding of regional customer needs and proven leadership would help more organisations benefit from the company’s expanding AI capabilities.
