TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter Debuts With 158 Kilometre Range and Smart Features for Urban Riders

TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric mobility portfolio beyond India with the official unveiling of the new TVS Orbiter electric scooter in Nepal. Designed primarily for urban commuters, the latest electric scooter combines a long riding range, intelligent technology, and practical everyday features, making it a strong contender in the growing international electric vehicle market.

One of the biggest highlights of the TVS Orbiter is its impressive riding range. The scooter is equipped with a 3.1 kWh lithium ion battery pack that can deliver a claimed range of up to 158 kilometres on a single full charge. This makes it suitable for daily city travel while reducing the need for frequent charging, offering greater convenience for riders.

TVS has also focused on making the riding experience more comfortable and safer through several advanced technologies. The Orbiter comes with cruise control, allowing riders to maintain a constant speed during longer journeys. It also features Hill Hold Assist, which helps prevent the scooter from rolling backward while starting on steep roads. Regenerative braking has also been included to recover energy during braking and improve overall battery efficiency.

To cater to different riding conditions, the scooter offers two riding modes. Riders can switch between Eco mode for maximum efficiency and extended battery life or Power mode for stronger acceleration and improved performance whenever required.

Practicality has also received significant attention in the TVS Orbiter. The scooter offers a spacious 34 litre under seat storage compartment, providing enough room to accommodate a helmet along with other personal belongings. In addition, the scooter offers a ground clearance of 169 mm, allowing it to negotiate speed breakers and uneven roads with greater ease than many conventional urban scooters.
