Sony IER M500 Earbuds Launched With Transparent Design and Features for Professional Musicians

Sony has launched the new IER M500 earbuds, targeting musicians and audio professionals who need reliable sound performance during rehearsals and live events. The earbuds feature a transparent design, unique color options, and a build focused on comfort and durability in demanding environments.

The Sony IER M500 is priced at 119 dollars, which is approximately Rs 11300. The earbuds are currently available for pre order through Amazon and Sony’s official website. The company is expected to begin deliveries from August 21. Sony is also including a zip carry case with the earbuds for easier storage and portability.

Designed mainly for musicians, the IER M500 comes with a behind the ear cable arrangement that helps keep the earbuds secure during movement. This design makes them suitable for stage performances, practice sessions, and other situations where regular wireless earbuds may not offer enough stability.

The earbuds are equipped with 5mm dynamic drivers and offer a frequency range of 10Hz to 40kHz. They feature 103dB/mW sensitivity and 16 ohm impedance, allowing them to deliver detailed audio output across different sound ranges. Sony claims that the earbuds provide effective noise isolation through their sealed acoustic design.

The transparent plastic housing gives the IER M500 a distinctive appearance, while the color options help users easily identify each earbud. The earbuds are available in combinations including White and Black along with Blue and Red variants. Sony says the large internal acoustic chamber helps deliver controlled bass, clear high frequencies, and improved passive noise reduction.

Built for professional use, the earbuds are designed to handle challenging conditions such as concerts, sweat, and moisture exposure. The lightweight design weighs just 6.9 grams without the cable, making them comfortable for longer listening sessions.

Sony has included multiple accessories with the IER M500, including five fitting supporters and four sizes of noise isolating ear tips. The package also includes a cable clip and carrying case, allowing users to adjust the fit according to their preference.
