Redmi Watch 6 Active and Watch 6 Lite Prices and Features Leak Ahead of Launch
Xiaomi is preparing two new smartwatches under the Redmi Watch 6 series, with leaked details revealing expected pricing, designs, colours and health tracking features.
Xiaomi is reportedly expanding its smartwatch portfolio with the upcoming Redmi Watch 6 Active and Redmi Watch 6 Lite. Ahead of the official launch, details about the two wearable devices have surfaced online, including their expected prices, colour options and specifications.
According to reports, both smartwatches are expected to arrive first in selected European markets. However, Xiaomi has not yet announced the official launch date or confirmed the regions where these models will be available.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is expected to be priced at around EUR 50, which is approximately Rs 5,500. Meanwhile, the Redmi Watch 6 Lite could cost around EUR 60, close to Rs 6,600. Both models are expected to feature a similar metal chassis design with a navigation button placed on the right side. The smartwatches may also come with replaceable silicone straps for better comfort and customization.
In terms of design options, the Redmi Watch 6 Active is expected to arrive in black and pink colour variants. The Redmi Watch 6 Lite may be offered in black and silver chassis options, giving users more style choices.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is expected to feature a 1.85 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 by 390 pixels. The smartwatch may support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity along with Bluetooth calling functionality, allowing users to handle calls directly from their wrist.
Health and fitness features are expected to be a major focus on both models. The watches may include heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ blood oxygen tracking, sleep monitoring, distance tracking, calorie burn tracking and a pedometer for daily activity measurement.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active could come equipped with a 470mAh battery, offering extended usage on a single charge. The same battery capacity is also expected on the Redmi Watch 6 Lite.
The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is likely to feature a slightly larger 1.96 inch AMOLED display while offering similar health tracking features and battery capacity as the Active model.
Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these details, the leaked information suggests that the Redmi Watch 6 series could target users looking for affordable smartwatches with premium display technology, fitness tracking and everyday smart features.
