OnePlus N6 Debuts in India With Massive 8000mAh Battery and Budget Pricing

OnePlus has introduced its most affordable smartphone featuring a massive battery smooth display AI features and launch offers making it an attractive choice for budget conscious smartphone buyers.

OnePlus has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new OnePlus N6. Positioned as the company’s most affordable smartphone, the device combines a large battery, modern software and AI powered features while targeting users looking for long battery life without spending on a premium handset.

The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6 is its massive 8000mAh battery. According to the company, a full charge can provide up to three days of usage under typical conditions. The battery supports 45W fast charging, Bypass Charging and 5W reverse wired charging, making it suitable for users who rely heavily on their phones throughout the day.

OnePlus also claims the battery is designed for long term durability. It is rated for up to 1600 charging cycles and is expected to retain around 80 percent of its health even after seven years of regular use.

The smartphone features a 6.75 inch HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. It runs on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, and the company has promised two years of Android version updates along with three years of security updates.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor paired with an ARM Mali G57 MC2 graphics processor. The phone offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To help maintain stable performance during extended usage, OnePlus has included a 5300 square millimetre vapor chamber cooling system.

For photography, the OnePlus N6 is equipped with a 50 megapixel primary rear camera, while an 8 megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The smartphone also includes several AI powered tools such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Notes, document scanning features and Google Gemini integration.

Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Dual SIM support, USB Type C and OTG compatibility. The device also comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and meets MIL STD 810H military grade durability standards. It measures 8.88 millimetres in thickness and weighs 224 grams.

The OnePlus N6 is available in Fresh Mint and Midnight Black colour options. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 22999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB model costs Rs 24999. Sales will begin on July 4 through the OnePlus online store and Amazon.

As part of the launch offers, customers using selected bank cards including ICICI Bank can receive an instant discount of Rs 2000. An additional discount of Rs 1000 will also be available during the Prime Day Sale, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs 19999 for eligible buyers.
